Interdisciplinary Cultural Programs

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures contributes language courses to several interdisciplinary majors and minors offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. Languages and linguistics are an integral feature of each of these programs. 

Asian Studies (Minor)

The Asian Studies minor integrates Asian history, politics, economics, geography, anthropology, natural sciences, and culture, including film, art, and music.

The European Studies minor seeks to promote understanding and appreciation of the history, politics, literature, language, economics and culture of Europe.

The B.A. in International Studies offers tracks in Business, Environmental Studies, and Political Sciences, and prepares students to enter a wide range of careers.
